Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 19 July 2024, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov met with a French delegation led by Paul Bourdillon, CEO of Suez Group for Europe and Central Asia. The meeting focused on key initiatives aimed at enhancing environmental sustainability and infrastructure development in Uzbekistan.
The agenda included an update on the Environmental Alliance project, emphasizing the project’s readiness and the next steps for its implementation. Discussions also covered the progress of water supply projects in the Surkhandarya region and the current water supply situation in Tashkent city.
Both parties expressed their commitment to continuing their strategic partnership to advance Uzbekistan’s environmental agenda and achieve sustainable development goals.
