Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 June, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Minister of Economy and Finance, Jamshid Kuchkarov, met with Cemal Kalyoncu, Chairman of Kalyon Holding, and Mehmet Cengiz, Chairman of Cengiz Holding.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed investment opportunities between Uzbekistan and Turkey, cooperation with Turkish companies, and the outcomes of the Uzbek-Turkish business forum held on June 5 in Ankara.
The forum gathered 500 participants, including business representatives from both countries, investors, and international experts.
As a result of the forum, agreements were reached aimed at further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the economic and business circles of Uzbekistan and Turkey.
During the meeting, they discussed the formation of infrastructure projects, particularly the development of public-private partnership projects in the fields of mining and geology, transportation, and road construction.
Special attention was paid to exchanging experience in these areas and cooperating with international financial institutions.
Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to form and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
