In the match against Uruguay within the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey, one of Uzbekistan leaders received an injury during collision with his opponent.

Uzbekistan Football Federation said that Jamshid Iskanderov’s leg was put in plaster in one of hospitals of Antalya.

Doctor of Uzbekistan U-20 Vladimir Pelipeyko said that the player will be able to resume trainings after two weeks.

Uzbekistan will play against Greece in last 16 of the FIFA U-20 World Cup. The match between two sides will be held in Gaziantep on 2 July 2013. The match will kick off at 20:00 Tashkent time.
