Mr. Ismailov will also head the Center for secondary special and professional education under the Ministry of Higher and secondary special education of Uzbekistan.

As reported earlier, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov fired Jahongir Ismailov from the post of the chairperson of the State Committee on Demonopolization and Development of Competition.

Jahongir Ismailov headed the committee since March 2010. Prior appointment he worked as deputy chairperson of Uzbekneftegaz national holding company (from September 2006 to March 2010).
