Jacques Tati’s films to be demonstrated in Uzbek capital
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- French Embassy in Uzbekistan and French Institute in Uzbekistan in cooperation with Fund Forum will organize retrospective show of films of French director Jacques Tati.

The retrospective show will present the best films of the director and actor of 1950-1970s. In particular, Tashkent citizens and guests can watch Jour de fête (1949), Les Vacances de Monsieur Hulot (1953), Mon Oncle (1958), Play Time (1967), Trafic (1971) and Parade (1974).

Jacques Tati (born Jacques Tatischeff; born 9 October 1907 in Le Pecq, Yvelines, France – died 5 November 1982) was a French filmmaker.

Throughout his long career he worked as a comic actor, writer, and director. In a poll conducted by Entertainment Weekly of the Greatest Movie Directors Tati was voted the 46th greatest of all time.
