Shukhrat Qadirov, Director of UZMOBILE, said: “National mobile communication operator UZMOBILE has been providing mobile communication services in Uzbekistan for over 10 years. During its activities, UZMOBILE provides assistance to the development of information and communication technologies in the sphere of education, science, cultural and educational establishments, which will now also include ambitious projects with Inha University in Tashkent.”

Director of Innovations and Industry Cooperation Center of Inha University in Tashkent Sandjar Saidkhodjaev said: “With the signing of the agreement, opportunities of the students and prospective graduates of IUT will expand, as they will be attracted to internship and production practices at UZMOBILE. It is also planned to organize joint events and scientific researches, courses, hackathons on developing innovative projects, mobile apps and services, which will help to develop mobile market and electronic commerce.”

Within the agreement, UZMOBILE and Inha University in Tashkent will cooperate in the sphere of developing innovative business-models, local technological start-ups, directed at developing IT market.

It is worth to mention that the ceremony of agreement signing was held within the conference Google I/O 2016 Extended IUT. The conference was organized to provide IT community of Uzbekistan with the latest concepts of Google’s innovations.
