ITE Uzbekistan sums up results of spring season
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- ITE Uzbekistan, exhibitions and conferences organizer, summed up results of the spring exhibition season of 2010.

The spring season was opened with the construction and interior exhibition UzBuild, which took place on 9-12 March. The exhibition presented technologies, materials, goods, construction, equipment and solutions for capital construction. The exhibition MebelExpo Uzbekistan became the platform for communication of producers of furniture, equipment and materials for furniture industry.

United exposition of UzBuild 2010 and MebelExpo Uzbekistan 2010 presented over 150 companies from 18 countries of the world. The exhibitors noted that the exhibition allowed them to sign contracts and establish cooperation.

WorldFood Uzbekistan and AgroWorld Uzbekistan exhibitions marked their jubilee this year. WorldFood Uzbekistan marked its 10th anniversary, while AgroWorld Uzbekistan – its fifth jubilee. Today, these exhibitions are large events of food and agriculture industries. Over 100 companies from 27 country participated at these exhibitions in 2010, which was the record number in history of these event.

Professional testing contest was held within the WorldFood Uzbekistan 2010, which became popular event among participants and visitors. Over 40 food products, drinks and ingredients were presented to jury. One of the main events of AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2010 was the Day of Farmer and over 100 farmers and representatives of agriculture firms became the guests of the exhibitions.

The main medical exhibition of Uzbekistan – TIHE, which took place in April, celebrated its 16th anniversary this year. TIHE plays important role in development of healthcare sector of Uzbekistan. TIHE was debut exhibition of ITE Uzbekistan, which laid foundation for history of ITE in Uzbekistan. TIHE laid foundation to other exhibitions - Stomatology Uzbekistan», AptekaExpo Central Asia, Beauty&AesteticMed. All these exhibitions are successfully organized within the Week of Healthcare. This year, 145 firms from 25 countries attended the exhibition.

ITE Uzbekistan concluded spring season with International exhibition Oil and Gas Uzbekistan – OGU 2010. The exhibition was dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the first commercial oil production in Uzbekistan. Over 190 companies from 28 countries participated at the exhibition. The exhibition focused on perspectives of international cooperation in fuel and energy complex of Uzbekistan. Center for Political Studies in cooperation with Uzbekneftegaz organized a roundtable titled “Perspectives of oil and gas sector in Central Asia in context of global financial-economic processes”.

International experts and politicians discussed issues of expanding international cooperation in oil and gas industry. The discussions were continued at the oil and gas exhibition “Investments and innovations in oil and gas sector of Uzbekistan’s economy”.

Over 500 delegates from 28 countries considered issues of further developing oil and gas sector, main directions of cooperation, perspective projects, strategy and tactics of joint cooperation in future.

ITE Uzbekistan said despite global crisis, the spring season was positive. In particular, the company organized all planed exhibitions, which were attended by 585 companies from 47 countries and over 35,000 people visited the events. Last year, 501 companies from 40 states attended the exhibitions of ITE Uzbekistan and 25,000 people visited them.

The spring season will be also remembers with large number of companies from Uzbekistan. Their number exceeded 40%, which has been the record figure for 15 years.

ITE Uzbekistan underlined that it is planning to hold 11 international exhibitions in autumn season of 2010.

ITE Uzbekistan is member of UFI and is leader on organization of professional exhibitions and conference in Uzbekistan. ITE Uzbekistan’s calendar includes 20 projects.
