Italian crew visited Karakalpakstan and Surkhandarya region and familiarized with work, conducted to eliminate actual ecologic problems in the region. The film “Open eyes” is dedicated to ecologic problems of the region, UzA reported.

Fazi Stepano, representative of Italy’s Institute for Water Research, said that he was impressed with work, carried out to mitigate consequences of ecologic situation in Aral Sea. Unique micro climate for development was created to produce fish in this difficult region. Planting of saksauls and constructing of water reservoirs help to ensure stability of ecologic system.
