Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 October, an "oasis" of high technologies was opened in the Oksoy district of Samarkand region. The IT Village project, developed jointly with the Unified Integrator - UZINFOCOM, can truly be called a real breakthrough in the development of IT infrastructure.
With this project, a new space has been created for:
- development of eco-friendly IT-tourism
- introduction of the IT sphere into educational processes for children from an early age
- organizing and holding international and local IT forums
The implementation of the project will allow:
-organize an IT infrastructure in remote regions of the Republic, providing an opportunity to attract and teach advanced IT technologies to children from nearby areas;
-provide the possibility of organizing and holding international and local IT forums, Hackathons for developers and any other IT events.
- start developing a new direction of the ICT industry - IT.TOURISM;
Complex area:
- The territory of the complex is 80x35 meters;
- Main unit: 300 sq. m. (10 containers - 12.5x2.5);
-Technical block: 60 sq. (2 containers - 12.5x2.5);
Main unit:
-3 classrooms for 60 jobs;
-accommodation facilities for 8 beds;
- conference hall for 15 persons;
-first-aid post, technical room, communication center;
- eco-cinema.
Monthly throughput:
-600 students of preschool and school institutions;
-240 developers as part of IT events;
-The rest of the time is open to visit 6 days a week.
Project content:
- Interactive IT training programs for participants of preschool and school institutions;
- Courses of full-time teaching (by local teachers, graduates of IT universities);
-Educational video materials (courses);
- Entertaining events in IT topics;
Planned activities within the project:
- Development of a WEB portal containing all the necessary information about the activities of the IT Village and providing feedback to all those interested;
- Scheduling visits and events of IT Village;
- Organization of a shuttle bus for children of preschool and school institutions, as well as participants of planned IT events and forums.
