Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 29 January, a specialized school with in-depth study of computer science and information technology was opened on the basis of secondary school No. 9 in the city of Samarkand.

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications J.Makhsudov, Deputy Minister of Public Education R. Karimzhonov, Director of the Fund for the Development of Information and Communication Technologies O. Omonov, Director of the United Integrator for the Creation and Support of State Information Systems UZINFOCOM »E. Gimranov, first deputy khokim of Samarkand region H. Ochilov, regional activists, as well as local youth.

As part of the organization of this school, classrooms in computer science and robotics were organized. These classrooms have been overhauled and equipped with furniture, computers, robotics and other equipment by the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Foundation for the Development of Information and Communication Technologies, LLC "United Integrator for the Creation and Support of State Information Systems UZINFOCOM" and the khokimiyat Samarkand region.

The entrance exams to the fifth grade took place. As a result of which 60 students were admitted to study. All conditions will be created for them for an in-depth study of computer science, direct and close study of activities and practical training at subordinate enterprises and organizations.
