Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- NAPA Automotive, a resident of IT Park, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Latvian company Corporate Solutions.
The signing ceremony was attended by: State Secretary of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development of Latvia Edvins Balsevics, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Latvia Kadambay Sultanov, Head of the Department of Economic Relations, Trade and Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Juris Shtalmeistars, Chairman of the Board of Corporate Solutions Aigars Tserus, head of NAPA Automotive Umid Abdusattorov.
The agreement envisages the introduction of an e-learning technology platform and the provision of e-learning software solutions in the field of IT security, adapted to the needs of the local market for workers in the Uzbek public and private sectors, and the export of IT services from Uzbekistan to the EU countries.
Aigars Cerus said during the meeting: “We have been working as IT security consultants since 2010. In Uzbekistan, one of the first objectives of the partnership will be to adapt e-learning software solutions based on the CloudStudy platform to the needs of the local market in the field of IT security. Among other things, Uzbek specialists will be trained in identifying activities that may contain phishing threats, basic knowledge of creating passwords, safe use of social networks, personal data security and other areas.”
The head of NAPA Automotive, Umid Abdusattorov, noted that the company is interested in cooperation with countries and companies that already have experience in implementing various electronic services, as well as experience in training IT security services.
