Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 April, IT Park management met with representatives of Huawei. It was attended by IT Park Director Farhod Ibragimov, Huawei Uzbekistan CEO Chen Jiakai, Deputy Director Guo Feng, Marketing Director Wei Yongqing and Corporate Business Department Director Cheng Hao.
Huawei is one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies. To date, the company’s offices are represented in 170 countries and regions, in which about 195 thousand employees work.
As noted at the meeting, Uzbekistan is one of the priority markets in Central Asia for the Chinese IT giant.
Representatives of the parties discussed the development of BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) and cooperation in this area - the companies considered the possibility of organizing joint trainings.
The meeting participants also noted the importance of involving women in the field of information technology. The heads of companies did not bypass the topic of inclusive IT education. The parties exchanged views on improving the conditions and stressed the importance of introducing inclusive education for the development of the IT sector.
As a result of the meeting, several promising areas for cooperation between the companies were announced. First of all, it is the organization of IT courses in various areas and the exchange of experience with the involvement of foreign experts. In addition, the parties discussed the regional development and development of IT Park infrastructure, as well as the launch of a mobile ICT Academy.
