Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- IT Park, together with UNICEF, launched a free comprehensive digital literacy and graphic design training program Skills4Girls in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Kashkadarya, Termez and Tashkent for all girls aged 12-18.
The main objective of the project is to increase the share of girls' involvement in the field of information technology based on the principle of inclusiveness, as well as to increase confidence in their own abilities. The program is designed to teach girls basic skills in the field of IT, which will give them the opportunity to get a job or work as freelancers in the future.
The duration of the project is 6 months - from June to November. The digital literacy course provides for the study of the basics of Microsoft Office, Web technologies (HTML and CSS) and Scratch, for graphic design - work with Photoshop and Corel Draw programs. In addition, project participants will receive mentoring support.
