Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 July 2021, the opening ceremony of the IT Laboratory of the Uzbek-Indian Center for Entrepreneurship Development was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan (CCI).
IT Laboratory was created by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the Institute for Entrepreneurship Development of India under the auspices of the Uzbek-Indian Center for Entrepreneurship Development to create conditions for improving the online learning process in the field of entrepreneurship and business.
The opening was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India Subramanyam Jaishankar, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Adham Ikramov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Uzbekistan Manish Prabhat, adviser to the Uzbek-Indian Center for the Development of Entrepreneurship Sanjiv Chaturvedi, as well as representatives of Indian business circles.
The purpose of creating the above IT Laboratory is the introduction of modern technologies and methods of retraining and advanced training of personnel in the field of entrepreneurship through the organization of distance learning, the development of e-commerce at the level of international best practices and standards, the promotion of innovative activities, the creation of conditions for the effective implementation of information technologies in the process development of innovative ideas, research projects and so on.
Also, within the framework of the event, the opening of branches of this Center in Andijan and Kashkadarya regions was launched on the basis of regional departments of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, whose representatives were connected to the ceremony online.
On 24 December 2018, the inauguration of the Uzbek-Indian Center for the Development of Entrepreneurship was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the main activity of which is aimed at improving and developing entrepreneurial personnel to the level of an advanced international model and standards.
In addition, as part of the Center’s activities, it is planned to organize experience exchange programs and internships for domestic entrepreneurs in the best innovation centers, technoparks and leading companies in India and other countries, as well as to hold conferences, round tables and seminars to train creatively thinking business leaders who can apply their knowledge in practice in a competitive economy.
