Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov noted that it is necessary to find opportunities to make the process of registering IMEI codes even easier for consumers.

Citizens should be able to use the services easily and conveniently. For this, it is necessary to take all measures, the Minister emphasized.

Sherzod Shermatov got acquainted with the activities of the State Unitary Enterprise "Republican Center for Management of Telecommunications Networks of Uzbekistan".

At the beginning, the Minister got acquainted with the activities of the Center and the conditions created for workers. The Center’s specialists made a presentation on the work done, as well as the projects planned for launch in the near future. For each of them, a separate discussion took place and solutions to existing problems were considered.

Among the projects being implemented in the near future is the project of a mobile number portability system.

During the presentation, the head of the industry expressed his suggestions and opinions, and also noted the need for joint study and resolution of existing problems in this area.
