Istanbul hosts symposium on “Timeless Civilization: Uzbekistan”

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - From 15 to 30 June, under the patronage of the Turkish presidential administration in Istanbul, a symposium on the topic “Civilization out of time: Uzbekistan” is held.

The purpose of the event is to assist in the development of multilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey. It is reported by the press service of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the development of tourism.

The symposium is held with the organizational support of the Turkish NGO İnsan ve Medeniyet Hareketi (İMH), the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (TİKA) in collaboration with the University of Marmara and Istanbul University.

In his welcoming speech, Vice President of Turkey Fuat Oktay highly appreciated the bilateral relations between our countries: “Relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey, based on mutual trust and respect, are steadily developing in all spheres. Of great importance in this are regular meetings and dialogue between the leaders of the two countries. Thanks to joint efforts, friendly relations between our countries have grown into a new strategic partnership. ”

During the event, more than 25 scholars and artists make presentations and presentations on Uzbek-Turkish relations, the rich and cultural historical heritage of Uzbekistan, etc. Also, the symposium presents miniatures, samples of calligraphy, visual and applied arts, ebru and much more.
