Issues of widespread implementation of the digital economy and e-government discussed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An online meeting was held at the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications on the implementation of projects envisaged by the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PP-4699 "On measures for the widespread introduction of the digital economy and electronic government" from 28 April 2020.

On 28 July 2020, reports were heard from the heads of 3 ministries and departments, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services and the State Committee for Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Cadastre on the projects they are implementing and consideration of problems arising in the process of their implementation.

According to the approved network schedules, 1 project is planned to be implemented by the end of this year, 3 by the end of 2021 and 2 by 2022.

In particular, during the meeting, the representative of the Ministry of Construction noted the development of the information system "implementation of the national information system" Transparent Construction "in the construction sector, currently work is underway to integrate with the my.gov.uz system and the project documentation examination module. It was also noted that the geoportal of the geographic information system "state urban planning cadastre of the Republic of Uzbekistan" will be launched.

In turn, the representative of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services noted that work is underway to prepare design estimates in the field of housing and communal services, to hold tenders for the construction of facilities, to develop software for monitoring construction processes and to introduce an information "housing and communal" system ...

Information was provided on the work carried out by the State Committee for Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and the State Cadastre on the project for real estate registration and modernization of cadastral systems.

At the end of the meeting, following the results of hearing information from the participants of this event about the work done, proposals were made for further quality assurance of the fulfillment of the tasks determined by the President’s decree.
