The event was attended by the President of the Association of Indonesian Tour Operators "ASITA" Nunung Rusmiati, the leading tour operators of this country, as well as the representative of JSC "Uzbekistan Airways" in Jakarta, Azimkhon Khojaev.
ASITA was founded in 1971 and is the country’s largest Association of Tour Operators, uniting about 7 thousand members.
During the conference, the parties discussed issues of resuming the tourist flow between Uzbekistan and Indonesia. In particular, Indonesian travel agencies were informed about the tourism project “Uzbekistan. Safe travel guaranteed. "
Most representatives of travel agencies - members of "ASITA" inquired about the possibility of resuming the implementation of travel packages through "Ziyorat-tourism - Uzbekistan" and "Uzbekistan plus Umra".
During the event, detailed information was provided on direct flights on the route Jakarta-Tashkent-Jakarta and Jakarta-Tashkent-Jeddah-Jakarta.
Taking into account the existing mutual interest, the parties reached an agreement to gradually resume the implementation of tourist routes from Indonesia to Uzbekistan through "Ziyorat Tourism" after the stabilization of the epidemiological situation in the world.
A working group has been created to draw up such new types of travel packages as "Uzbekistan plus Central Asia", "Uzbekistan plus Russia" and others.
