Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 2 March, the Central Bank hosted a meeting with a mission of the International Finance Corporation, during which they discussed the development of cashless payments and the regulatory environment, as well as the supervision of issuers of electronic money.

IFC representatives expressed their willingness to provide technical assistance in the development of payment systems, risk analysis when fintech companies enter the local market, as well as supervision of payment systems.

In addition, separate working meetings of IFC representatives with the relevant departments of the Central Bank were held, during which technical aspects were discussed in the field of developing remote identification of consumers of financial services, the current state of the country's payment system, payment system using bank cards, and the possibility of expanding the list of services provided.
