Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 July 2024, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Khaydarov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Uzbekistan Ilham Tuah bin Illias.
During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues in Uzbek-Malaysian relations and exchanged views on the progress of implementing the agreements reached during the official visit of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to Uzbekistan from 17 to 19 May 2024.
Proposals for actively advancing economic diplomacy and organizational aspects of upcoming visits and joint events were discussed.
The importance of increasing tourism exchanges, particularly in the area of ziyarat tourism, was also emphasized, and practical steps for implementing joint projects in this field were discussed.
