Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Fariddin Nasriyev, as part of his visit to the Iranian city of Yazd, held a bilateral meeting with the Governor of Yazd Province, Mehran Fatemi, Dunyo news agency reported.

At the meeting, issues of bringing interregional cooperation between the two countries to a new level in various fields, including trade and economic, investment, tourism and cultural and humanitarian, were discussed.

The governor emphasized that the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tehran was historic, and the constant dialogue between the leaders of our countries is an important factor in the development of bilateral cooperation.

The governor emphasized that he will pay special attention to establishing interregional cooperation, including direct cooperation between Yazd and Khorezm.

In order to develop relations in this direction, an exchange of views took place on the plan for further activities.
