Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan Abdusalom Khatamov met with the Executive Director of Oman’s airline Salam Air, Adrian Hamilton-Maans, to discuss the establishment of direct air communication between our countries, Dunyo news agency reported.
Adrian Hamilton-Maans noted that the establishment of direct air transport will play an important role in further developing relations between Uzbekistan and Oman, promoting bilateral trade and economy, as well as increasing tourist flow.
The Executive Director of Salam Air supported the idea that direct air communication will attract Omani tourists and businessmen to Uzbekistan, as well as create opportunities for transit passengers.
In his opinion, Tashkent Airport is an important aviation hub in the region, and he will make every effort to establish direct air communication between Muscat and cities in Uzbekistan.
