Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan with members of the delegation of the international payment system Visa, led by Vice President and Regional Manager Christina Dorosh.
 
During the meeting, the work carried out within the framework of cooperation with Visa was discussed. In particular, the parties exchanged views on the current state of the infrastructure of payment systems in Uzbekistan, issues of ensuring cybersecurity in the country and increasing the financial literacy of the population.
 
During the dialogue, issues of ensuring compliance of the legislative framework that impedes the entry of international payment companies into the Uzbekistan market with international legal norms were also raised.
