Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Within the framework of the international economic forum, a meeting was held between the leadership of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Khokim Kholikzoda.

At the meeting, issues of the macroeconomic situation in the two countries and forecasts for the future were discussed. Detailed information on the development of the banking sector was presented. The parties also discussed issues of cooperation in the field of banking supervision and payment systems.

Following the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to further deepen fruitful cooperation.
