Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The head of the Tourism Committee Umid Shadiev met with the US Ambassador to Uzbekistan Jonathan Henick and discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of tourism.

The ambassador acknowledged that tourism in Uzbekistan has been developing widely in recent years, and paid special attention to the possibilities of MICE tourism in the republic.

During the meeting, the parties considered several proposals for the development of “green” tourism, personnel training and increasing the potential of the regions.
