Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 14 May 2024, within the framework of the International Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan - OGU 2024”, negotiations were held between the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and the President of SOCAR.

During the meeting, key issues of cooperation on the implementation and management of joint projects, as well as the supply of joint products through the established joint venture “Turan Energy” were discussed.

The head of the Azerbaijani company invited the delegation of Uzbekneftegaz JSC to take part in Baku Energy Week 2024 and proposed to strengthen cooperation through the exchange of experience and the creation of joint courses.

At the same time, the importance of work in the areas of decarbonization and ESG was emphasized. In this regard, it was proposed to create a joint group to comprehensively cover these areas and develop joint proposals.
