Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 April, a forum was held on the topic “National subscription to Pivot-RP resources in the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

Science is the main force leading the development of any country. Today, science and research are rapidly developing in Uzbekistan. It would not be an exaggeration to say that this is based on the activities of scientists and researchers in priority areas of science. Therefore, one of the important steps in the development of science for Uzbekistan on the path to prosperity and stability is the approval by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of the “Concept for the development of science in the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030.”

In order to form and further develop the infrastructure of the field of science and scientific activity, on 24 April, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Clarivate organized a forum on the topic “National subscription to resources” “Pivot-RP” in the Republic of Uzbekistan.”

The event was opened by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Kongratbai Sharipov, who spoke about the work carried out by the ministry in the field of science. Also at the event, Director of the Agency for Innovative Development Sharaf Razhabbaev paid special attention to the opportunities created by the Agency for scientists and researchers, scientific projects, internships and indicators of scientific activity.

During the event, presentations were made by the Vice President of Clarivate Roland Rehberger, Senior Strategic Advisor of Clarivate Irina Tikhonkova and Head of Transformation and Strategic Development Peter McCann, as well as statistical data on Clarivate articles published in our country during 2023."

Scientists from hundreds of universities and research organizations around the world also presented the international Pivot-RP database, which provides the opportunity to find suitable grants and funding for their research, and also made presentations on the capabilities and benefits of the platform.
