Issues of construction of environmentally friendly buildings and waste recycling with China were discussed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change with the participation of Deputy Minister Jusipbek Kazbekov and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of China and Uzbekistan.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss prospects for strengthening cooperation and strategic partnership in the field of ecology and environmental protection between the two countries, as well as major projects for the construction of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly buildings and the recycling of household and solid waste.

During the meeting, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of China and Uzbekistan presented major projects for the construction of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly buildings, the introduction of green technologies, projects for the processing of household and solid waste, recycling batteries, preventing air pollution and other areas. The importance of establishing international environmental standards, widespread implementation of the digitalization system, studying the experience of the PRC and developing mechanisms in the field of environmental protection was noted.

In addition, the issues of studying Chinese experience in landscaping desert areas, creating farms for planting seedlings, attracting investors to install innovative technologies and wastewater treatment in the urban system were discussed.

The Ministry provided information on the consistent work being carried out by the government of the country to develop various areas, including ongoing measures to protect the environment.

The parties discussed the prospects for developing a National Taxonomy of “green” projects and the creation of a Green Fund.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to organize additional negotiations on the above issues.
