Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 13 August 2024, the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan hosted a roundtable dedicated to issues of cargo transportation through transport corridors and the enhancement of the country’s export potential.

The event was attended by Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Transport Ilkhom Makhkamov, representatives of "Uzbekistan Railways" JSC, and leaders from over 40 major enterprises engaged in export, transport, and logistics.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the development of transport corridors, particularly the Trans-Caspian corridor, which is used for exporting goods.

The participants also explored the creation of comprehensive and favorable conditions for export activities, while entrepreneurs presented new proposals and initiatives based on their practical experience.

As a result of the roundtable, tasks for the systematic implementation of these proposals were identified.

To achieve this, a "Roadmap" will be developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, outlining specific implementation timelines and responsible parties.
