Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A special report on Uzbekistan was broadcast on the i24NEWS Israeli international television channel, Dunyo news agency reported.
The author of the film, the editor-in-chief of the “Orient” (“East”) project of the i24NEWS television channel, Cyril Amar is a participant in the 25th Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” (on 13-15 November 2019).
An hour-long TV show in French was prepared as part of a special thematic project “Orient”, highlighting the cultural diversity of the countries of the Middle East and Asia. According to the author, the broadcast of the report in English and Arabic will be aired in the near future.
It is worth noting that “Orient” is a weekly program focused on the countries of the Middle East, Islamic and Arab world. The report acquaints the audience with the cultural, historical and tourist potential of Uzbekistan, the country’s experience in maintaining interethnic and interfaith harmony, promoting the values of enlightened Islam, as well as historical aspects and the current state of Uzbek-Israeli relations.
The material begins with a story about the history of Uzbekistan in the years of independence, the country’s achievements in recent years, a great emphasis is placed on positive transformations in socio-economic life.
The audience is also provided with information about the tourist opportunities of the historical cities of Samarkand and Bukhara, the main features of each of them are emphasized.
The author talks about Jewish synagogues operating in the cities of Uzbekistan.
The film also provides an opportunity for the Israeli audience to get a visual representation of the generous hospitality of the Uzbek people, the possibilities of gastronomic tourism in the republic, its developed transport infrastructure, favorable conditions created for tourists, as well as the modern development of Uzbekistan.
Frames dedicated to tourist attractions of the capital of our country will also impress the viewer. At the same time, narrating about the Tashkent metro, the author calls it one of the most "intriguing sights of the city." The great interest of the public is also caused by stories about the bazaars of Tashkent, which are abundant all year round.
A special place in the film is occupied with familiarization with Uzbek musical instruments, such as doira, rubab, gijac, tanbur and others.
The film presents an interview with the author of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Uzbekistan, E. Shapiro, who shares his views on the state of Uzbek-Israeli relations, the development of interaction in all areas, the progressive dynamics of the number of Israelis visiting Uzbekistan, which is also due to the abolition of the visa regime for Israeli citizens and other aspects of cooperation.
