Israel cancels PCR testing when entering the country

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 21 May, neither tourists nor citizens of the country need to take a PCR test when entering Israel. Also, foreigners will be exempted from testing before departure.

Israel lifted part of the coronavirus restrictions from 21 May: citizens and foreigners will not need to do a PCR test when entering the country, and foreigners will also be exempted from this procedure before departure, the Ministry of Health said in a statement.

So, from midnight (local time) on Saturday, 21 May, Israeli citizens and foreigners entering the country by air, land and sea are exempt from mandatory testing for coronavirus.

In addition, foreigners will not need to undergo PCR or antigen testing before boarding a flight.
