Iranian, Uzbek ministers discuss cooperation in transport sector
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Minister of Roads and Transportation of Iran Hameed Behbehani held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiev.
IRNA reported that the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in automobile, railway and air transportation.
Elyor Ganiev underlined that Iran is strategic partner of Uzbekistan, including in transport sector. He added that Iran has great potential in automobile, railway and air transportation.
During the meeting, the Uzbek official called Iran to cut transport tariffs for Uzbek goods.
