The agency said the Iranian official will hold talks with the First Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov and Minister for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiev.

The sides will discuss issues related to tariffs for cargo transportation on Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran route, increase of cargo transit by motor transport, solving existing problems, expansion of cooperation between Iran and Uzbekistan within international transport corridors East-West and North-South.

Iranian minister will also pay a study tour to ancient Samarkand city.
