Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 31 March 2023, Deputy Minister Oybek Khamrayev met with Director of the Iranian company Hasti Aryan Taamin Nasser Ansari at the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The main activity of Hasti Aryan Taamin company is the production of food products such as tea, rice, sugar and spices. Since 2021, the company has started supplying tea to Uzbekistan under the trademark "Famila Tea".

During the meeting, prospects for implementation of an investment project for the production of tea in Uzbekistan with further supplies of products to both domestic and foreign markets by the Iranian company were discussed. Agreements have been reached on further joint work in the preparation of pre-project documentation, organization of laboratory facilities, supply of modern equipment, establishment of production of tea products based on the national brand and subsequent export to foreign markets.

Following the meeting, the parties outlined practical directions for the development of cooperation and worked out a format for further lending in order to actively implement the agreements reached
