Iran-Uzbekistan develop commercial, industrial cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Iran's Ambassador to Tashkent Ali Mardani, in a meeting with Head of Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Alisher Shayhov underlined necessity of expansion of commercial and industrial cooperation between the two countries.

In the meeting, Mardani called for expansion and development of ties in different political, economic, social and cultural fields, IRNA reported.

He expressed dissatisfaction with current trade exchange between the two countries and said that by using all potentials, the commercial exchange level between Tehran and Tashkent should promote to an acceptable one.

Mardani, by expounding on Iran's abilities in different fields of agriculture, industry and science, expressed Iran's readiness for cooperation and experience transfer to Uzbekistan.

Head of Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for his part, also expressed hope that during Iran's new ambassador mission to Tashkent, bilateral relations can be further developed.

Shayhov, by referring to abilities of Iranian companies in different fields, called for transferring Iranian firms experiences in the fields of chicken hatchery, animal husbandry, meat production, fish growing and using Iranian saplings in developing Uzbekistan gardening.

He urged Iranian companies to benefit from investment in industrial zones of Uzbekistan.
