Iran has been drawn with hosts Uzbekistan, Singapore and Bahrain in Group A. The team is slated to play Uzbekistan on October 6 and will play Singapore two days later.

A total of 16 teams will compete in four groups. The top two teams will qualify for the quarterfinal stage from each group.
