Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The third joint working meeting in Mumbai, India, brought together representatives from Iran, India, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan to discuss streamlining trade operations and the transit of goods through Chabahar Port.
The meeting was attended by officials from India’s Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, along with ambassadors of Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Iran to India, as well as Indian diplomats.
Discussions focused on the capabilities and infrastructure of the transport network, as well as existing obstacles in this domain.
The agenda included proposals for implementing necessary measures to simplify commercial transactions via Chabahar Port.
Additionally, the working session addressed matters related to the transportation and transit of goods through this key port.
