Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 4 February 2024, citizens of Uzbekistan can visit Iran without a visa.

Iran will unilaterally cancel the visa regime for citizens of Uzbekistan starting February 4, IRNA reports citing Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali-Reza Bigdeli.

He said that the Iranian Foreign Ministry notified the relevant authorities about the decree approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on the abolition of visas for 28 countries.

According to the agency, tourists can visit Iran without a visa. They just need to buy a plane ticket.
