Ipoteka Bank writes off 229 billion soums in debt for two textile clusters

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — JSCB Ipoteka Bank has written off the debts of two textile clusters amounting to nearly 229 billion soums. This information was published on the Unified Corporate Information Portal.

At an extraordinary general meeting of Ipoteka Bank's shareholders held on February 25, the decision was approved to write off 30% of the credit debt of two enterprises: Parvoz Xumo Ravnaq Trans—158.2 billion soums, and Sangzor-Textile—70.6 billion soums.

By the end of 2024, Ipoteka Bank reported losses exceeding 240 billion soums, ranking as the third-worst financial performance among all banks in the country.

According to data from the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations (EGRPO), Parvoz Xumo Ravnaq Trans, based in the Bukhara region, was registered in October 2011. Its authorized capital stands at 28.2 million soums, and its primary business activity is the production of cotton fabrics. The company is founded by Gulzara Ochilovna Khojamkulova, while its director is Nurali Halimovich Bokiev.

Sangzor-Textile, registered in July 2012 in the Jizzakh region, specializes in cotton fiber preparation and spinning. Its charter capital amounts to 459.4 billion soums. The company's founders are Diyor Gafurovich Bazarov (40%) and Shokhruhbek Sanzharovich Kuchkarov (60%), with Dilshod Turgunboevich Khojatov serving as the director.
