IPMI experts analyzed the change in prices for renting apartments in Tashkent in March: prices continued to decline

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Experts of the Institute for Forecasting and Macroeconomic Research (IPMI) analyzed the change in prices for renting apartments in Tashkent in March and recorded decline in prices.

Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that prices for renting apartments in Tashkent continue to decline. It is known that the growth in prices for rental apartments, which began last year, reached its peak in October and then began to slow down. 

According to the analysis of ads posted on the OLX.uz website, the average price for renting an apartment with an average repair reached US$526 in October last year. In March of this year, the average price for rented housing decreased by 2% compared to February and amounted to US$411.

The average price for a renovated 2-room apartment ranged from US$340 (Sergeli district) to US$460 (Yakkasaray district) and averaged US$411 in the capital. The price for a 3-room apartment ranged from US$380 (Sergeli district) to US$600 (Mirabad district) and averaged US$480 in Tashkent. The average cost of a 1-room apartment with. repair amounted to US$320, 4-room - US$600, 5-room - US$660.
