Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In 2025, Termez plans to implement 50 investment projects with a total value of US$282 million, according to Ulugbek Kasymov, the khokim of Surkhandarya Region.

Kasymov noted that these projects will be supported by both foreign and domestic investors, creating over 1,800 new jobs.

He also highlighted the impact of the "Export in Three Steps" system, which has significantly boosted the export potential of the city and region by simplifying and accelerating customs procedures.

On November 14, two new facilities were inaugurated in Termez: the Surxon Qurilish construction materials factory and the Komfort Mebel Servis furniture production plant. Additionally, a new 60-room hotel has been opened in the city.
