Within the presentation, the participants familiarized with the modern economic development of Uzbekistan, its investment potential, new directions of trade-economic cooperation with the Japanese firms.

Special attention was paid to offered tax and customs privileges for production of high-technologic products and their export at Navoi free industrial and economic zone.

The participants also got acquainted with modern tourism and rich historic-cultural heritage of Uzbekistan. The presentation of Youth Tourism Bureau of Uzbekistan “Kelajak Tour” has been held.

The guests also received information on national and modern traditions of the Uzbek people, annual fashion and design week Fashion Week, which is attended by Japanese designers.

After the presentations, the participants exchanged opinion on attracting foreign direct investments, current agreement on free trade of Uzbekistan, perspective projects in Uzbekistan, which can be implemented with the Japanese companies.
