Representatives of Industry and Trade Federation, Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Department of Commerce of Jiangsu province received information on created conditions for foreign businesses in Uzbekistan, implementation of joint projects in High Technology Park in Jizzakh region, Navoi free industrial and economic zone and Angren special economic zone.

Currently, companies from Jiangsu province realize six projects in Uzbekistan for US$9 million and trade turnover between Uzbekistan and province reached US$66 million in the first two months of 2012. This figures show that there is potential for further development of trade-economic and investment relations.

It was noted that China considers as well-thought and strategic correct decision on creation of High-Technology Park in Jizzakh region and Angren special economic zone. It was said that Angren special economic zone will serve as stimulating factor in attracting potential investors and expanding trade-economic relations.
