Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- It is symbolic that 2020 was declared the Year of the Development of Science, Education and the Digital Economy. Within the framework of the State Program, in the Year of the Development of Science, Education and the Digital Economy, it is also planned to implement a number of serious tasks and projects in accordance with the instructions of the President.
On 28 April, the President’s decree “On measures for the widespread adoption of the digital economy and e-government” was adopted. Measures are defined with a view to the qualitative execution of the tasks defined in this resolution.
Currently, on the basis of this resolution, the widespread introduction of digital technologies in all sectors of the economy and public life is being carried out. And one of the relevant areas of this program is the provision of housing and communal services. A number of important projects are planned in this direction.
For example, one of the relevant areas is the automation of the dispatch service in the public utilities system. The implementation of this project will improve the quality of public utilities, significantly reduce time and money costs.
Issues of ensuring transparency and openness are also some of the most relevant for the housing sector. In order to ensure them, it is planned to develop special software for the preparation of budget documentation in the housing and communal sector, tendering of construction projects, and monitoring of construction processes.
One of the most pressing issues so far not resolved is the problem of rational use of water resources. In this regard, two projects are proposed - the formation of a geographic information system for water supply and sanitation, as well as the introduction of an information system for electronic accounting of water at production and water distribution facilities. The implementation of these projects will undoubtedly lay the foundation for the rational management of water resources.
Since the housing and communal services sector is a very significant industry, public control also plays an important role here. With this in mind, the introduction of the Housing and Communal Services information system is also planned. Through this system, electronic documents will be generated on payments for utilities, as well as interaction with citizens on landscaping issues with ratings.
All projects within the framework of the "Electronic Government" program aimed at improving the housing and communal sector are, of course, relevant. Their implementation and implementation, in turn, will improve the quality of services for the population and make life more comfortable for our citizens.
