Internet TV channel Sevimli to be launched in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Non-governmental internet TV channel Sevimli will be launched in Uzbekistan in the beginning of March 2015, National Association of Electronic Mass Media of Uzbekistan (NAESMI) said.

The channel will broadcast its programmes for 20 hours a day and will be able to meet demands of power users. The channel will present information, cultural, musical, entertainment, talk shows, soap operas, films, etc.

The project is directed at further developing system of assisting to regional TV station in creation, exchange and broadcasting licensed TV content, etc.

The project will cover Tashkent city and regional TV stations as Andijan, Qoqand, Bukhara, Jizzakh, Karshi, Samarkand, Tortkol and Nukus.

The progammes of the channels will be prepared by journalists of Youth TV studio, who work in all regions of Uzbekistan.
