Fund Forum, Center for Youth Initiatives Kelajak Ovozi, Center for Development and Introduction of Computer and Information Technologies UZINFOCOM are organizers of the festival. Magazine infoCOM.UZ is coordinator of the festival. The Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information and Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan are official supporters of the event.
The festival will be held from 5 August to 24 September. The results of the festival will be held on 24 September at the Youth Creativity Palace in the first day of InfoCOM 2012 Week.
The festival is aimed at popularizing internet among population of Uzbekistan, assisting to development of national content, expanding use of Uzbek language in internet, promoting historic, cultural and national traditions of people of Uzbekistan.
All existing websites, registered in UZ domain zone, can participate at the festival. Members of jury, website owners and any other person can offer website through the website of festival - www.if.uz. The applications are received from 5 August to 5 September of 2012.
The festival will have thirteen topical and three special nominations. The organizers will organize jury, which will assess the websites.
The websites, which claimed top three places in each nomination, will be awarded with prizes and diploma of the festival.
