Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 23 to 27 November, Tashkent hosts an international week of innovative ideas "InnoWeek.uz-2021" under the motto "Innovations in the post-pandemic era: green technologies, artificial intelligence, technological revolution, startup ecosystem".
"InnoWeek.uz" is an annual event that demonstrates the potential and accumulated results of work in the field of high technologies, innovative and investment projects in the field of science and technology.
The goal of this exhibition is to create a reliable platform for demonstrating and promoting the most advanced innovative technologies, products, projects, prototypes or models for various business areas.
The week "InnoWeek.Uz-2021" was solemnly opened by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov.
As the organizers noted, since 2018, the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan has been holding a week of innovative ideas INNOWEEK.UZ, where local and foreign companies, investors, representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, entrepreneurs, as well as representatives of ministries and departments take an active part. The exhibition is attended by over 100 local and foreign companies, research and higher educational institutions. Currently, you can see them at the exhibition, which is held on all floors of the building of the Ministry of Innovation.
On the ground floor, the visitors can see commercialized and ready for commercialization scientific projects, stands of enterprises and organizations related to green energy.
On the second floor, the visitors will get acquainted with projects of universities, local entrepreneurs and participants of the Technoways technology marathon.
On the third floor there are stands of foreign organizations and local developers.
On the fourth floor, the visitors will find products from the residents of the Yashnabad Innovation Technopark under the Ministry of Innovative Development.
In addition, on 23-26 November, the second (autumn) stage of the Forum on the commercialization of scientific developments will take place, aimed at developing cooperation between universities and scientific organizations, economic management bodies, industry organizations and regions.
The Forum will present the results of 44 new projects aimed at mastering the production of innovative products and preparing them for commercialization, commercialized developments, as well as more than 200 products developed in innovative regions and scheduled for release in 2022. These projects are mainly innovative developments in the field of agriculture, medicine, pharmaceuticals and energy.
It is planned to hold an international conference on the topic "Artificial Intelligence - the Basis of Technological Progress", within the framework of which reports of local and foreign qualified specialists in artificial intelligence technologies will be organized. And also, on 23-24 November, the Exhibition of Scientific Developments of Higher Education Institutions and Scientific Organizations will be held.
Within the framework of the week, the traditional robotics competition International Robotics Challenge - 2021 will be held. Boys and girls 16-22 years old from 20 countries involved in robotics will participate in the competition. The best will be rewarded with dignity. Within the framework of the International Robotics Challenge-2021, the "Festival of Science and Culture of the Turkic World" will be organized on 25 November.
On 24 November, within the framework of the week “InnoWeek.Uz-2021”, the Ministry of Innovative Development and the Asia-Pacific Center for Technology Transfer will organize a regional seminar “Research Commercialization and Innovative Technology Transfer Strategies”. At the seminar, experienced speakers can provide information on the role of public policy in technology transfer and commercialization development, intellectual property management and technology licensing, best practices for developing cooperation between government and representatives of industrial and scientific activities, regional cooperation to facilitate cross-border technology transfer. During the regional seminar, the practice and experience of eliminating the main problems encountered in the field of technology transfer and commercialization will be discussed.
In addition, for the first time, an "Innovative Exhibition of Social Sciences and Humanities" will be organized, within the framework of which over 20 projects on innovative teaching methods will be presented.
On 25 November, a conference will be held on the topic "Development of scientific research in the fields of hydrogen technologies, renewable energy sources and energy saving", at which reports on the achievement of energy efficiency and energy saving will be heard. The participation of leading and experienced specialists in the field of international level is planned. In particular, the proposed innovative solutions to the global problems of energy sources deficit and the ways of their implementation will be discussed.
During the week, GREEN ENERGY exhibitions will be organized: new technologies, products, ideas, projects related to the development of renewable energy sources and "green" hydrogen technologies, as well as energy efficiency and energy saving projects will be presented.
The international conference will also present the results of research on the development of hydrogen energy technologies in the country and an annual report on the current state of development of hydrogen energy in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On 24 November, within the framework of the week “InnoWeek.Uz-2021”, an award ceremony will be held for the winners of the republican stage of the “TechnoWays” technological development marathon, which was launched on November 15.
As part of the week "InnoWeek.Uz-2021", conditions will be created for a close acquaintance with innovative technologies, forging new business relationships, attracting potential investors and reliable business partners.
