Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- International round table of women entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan and Russia was held in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan on 6 March, on the eve of International Women’s Day. The event was dedicated to the launch of Women and Roads: Way to Self project.

The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and International Women’s Public Foundation SHARQ AYOLI.

The round table on the Uzbek side was addressed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan I.Jasimov, the chairman of the International Women’s Public Foundation SHARQ AYOLI S.Tursunbaeva, the chairman of the State Committee on Family and Women’s Affairs O.Parpibaeva.

From Russian side head of Russian delegation, scriptwriter of the project "Women and roads: the way to yourself", businesswoman K. Kretova, representative of St. Petersburg women business community, producer of the project "Women and roads: the way to yourself" A. Kameneva and others attended the event.

The film project "Women and Roads: the Way to Myself" dedicated to the versatility and multi-functionality of women in the modern world, which won awards at international film festivals, was presented during the event. 

During the discussion, entrepreneurs shared their experiences of doing business in Russia and Uzbekistan, discussed gender issues affecting communication and promotion in the business community and exchanged ideas on how to promote harmonious female leadership in the business sphere.
