Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PD-4611 provides for the translation of IFRS and explanatory notes to it into the state language and their recognition on the territory of the Republic.

For the purpose of high-quality translation of IFRS documents into the state language, a competition has been announced on the website of the Ministry of Finance to form a group of experts and translators that translate IFRS documents into the state language.

The IFRS documents translated into the state language consist of 25 texts of international accounting standards ( IAS-International accounting standards), 16 international financial reporting standards (International Financial Reporting Standards), and explanations to these standards, a total of 900 sheets contain 508255 words.

The number of people interested in free online courses on IFRS, organized by the Ministry of Finance in cooperation with internationally accredited training centers for qualified specialists in IFRS, is growing and increased by 400 compared to last week, reaching 5,100 students.
