Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A group of international experts led by Mary Maglaperidze from Georgia began cooperation with the National Social Protection Agency of Uzbekistan to further improve the social protection system in the country.

Mary Maglaperidze is the director of the responsible agency in the field of social protection of Georgia. Before taking this position, she served in various leadership positions at the Office of the Public Defender, the UN Gender Equality Program and the Center for Children’s Rights.

Elena Martashvili and Giorgi Sakhokia also joined Maglaperidze’s team.

They will participate in the formation of a system of social work, standardization of state social services, as well as in the development and control of the system of social services for children and adults in Uzbekistan.
